Mooring

Go stern-to the W quay if space is available .This is the best spot in Vathi as the winds usually during the summer season are Westerlies .Good holding – good shelter.
The S and the SE side of the quay (next to port police & square) can also  be used , but care needed  when the prevailing wind is stronger than 6B. Let as much scope as possible as the gusts are straight from the mountains .Alternatively anchor in the middle of the bay
