Spartochori

Spartochori is a large bay on the NW side of Meganisi . A visit to the village  will give you the opportunity to enjoy the amazing view from above. Is just 15min walk from the port.

NOTE : USE THE RED COORDINATES IF YOU ARE USING A WSG84 DATUM  GPS

Approach Spartochori       (38°39’55N / 020°45’41 WGS84 )

Approach free of dangers . The village at the top of the cliff above the bay is easily identified and will guide you straight to the entrance of the bay .

Mooring

Go stern or bows-to the quay if any space available .At some berths mooring lines are available . Care must taken not to obstruct the ferry berth . Alternatively go to one of the floating pontoons which are managed by the tavernas , mooring lines – shore power – water supply are available . There is no charge for berthing on these pontoons but you have to visit their tavernas . Good shelter but NE winds can make the place uncomfortable and dangerous at times .
