Port Kalamos

Port Kalamos is the main harbour of Kalamos island  which is on the E side of the island opposite Kastos island .

The approach is free of dangers , the village above the harbour and the harbour are easily identified . Prevaling  S – SW winds during the summer season between Kalamos and Kastos must take care

Mooring

Stern-to or bows-to in the harbour on the breakwater or on the W quay .During the summer season the harbour gets really busy but always you can find a space with the little help of George who will probably come with his motor boat to help you .You can also spend your night on free anchoring outside of the harbour as the depth permits  , shelter is good although strong E or S winds can make it uncomfortable and even dangerous at times
