Agios Nikolaos

Agios Nikolaos is a bay on the N/E side of Zakinthos . A not very quite place as tourists from all over Zakynthos are coming to the small harbour to take  daily cruise boats to the blue caves and the famous bay navagio which is on the N/W side of the island

Ay Nikolaos island is in the entrance of the bay . You can pass on either side of it N or S .Care is needed in the N entrance , blocks and rocks extending from both sides so is advisable to sail in the middle of it . The S side is free of dangers

Mooring

The S side of the bay is being used by daily cruisers and ferries . The E side of the bay can be used by visiting yachts . Good holding but swell can be caused when prevailing N – N/E winds so is advisable to let out  as much scope as possible . Along side-to is not recommended when prevailing N-N/E winds
