We had a wonderful sailing holiday June 2018. Thanks to Spiros, with exceptional and warm asssitance. Our first cruise in the Ionian, and what a great time we had. The weather was kind & the boat reliable, well equipped and just right for four adults, and our adorable 14 month old grand daughter Nancy. We chartered a Bavaria 39 from Sami, which wasn’t the newest on the block, but well presented, clean and tidy with the massive benefit of Solar Panels which made a massive difference - fridge on 24/7, what a luxury. Brilliant service from the first enquiry to the final check out. Excellent communication from Spiros who was very helpful as we booked the charter. Nice easy check in process on a great yacht which sailed like a dream despite the lack of wind on a lot of days. Final check out also nice and straightforward. Spiros managed to find us possibly the last available boat in Greece for our last minute charter, the boat evidently came across from Levkas especially for us ! It was the most personal service we have received in many years of chartering., Spiros was very friendly from our first email and answered all of our questions. and the boat was good value too..Shaking hands in a car park could only happen in Greece!. If you have any concerns about moving away from the big companies, have no fear everything was great. We have chartered many times in the Ionian but it made a real change to start and finish in Kefalonia, so much easier to reach our favourite places both on this island and on Ithaka.. We did have a problem with the boat on the last day, the back up service came to our aid and after an unscheduled visit to Fiscardo we were on our way after lunch . The offer of dinner that evening was above and beyond what we would expect and the experience would give us,peace of mind to charter with this company again. Dream holiday, from start to finish was perfect. Our first trip on the Greek seas, our skipper was fabulous and took us to some secret locations that only an experienced person would know. Our boat was great and very comfortable - tip is always have a room extra if you can afford it! Kids loved every second - no one was sick. Thank you for arranging a flotilla holiday that met all expectations and that will be fondly remembered. An efficient and personal service that resulted in a wonderful week of sailing in the Ionian. Spiros was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the booking process. We had a few slightly challenging requests for him to fill, but he managed to find us a great boat and crew and handled every aspect of the itinerary from transfers to jet ski rentals. Kefalonia Sailing seems to be the only yacht agency that is actually based in Kefalonia, which was really helpful to securing a boat that was nearby and making use of their local knowledge for arranging the itinerary. Spiros hat unseren ersten Familienurlaub in Griechenland perfekt organisiert – inklusive An- und Abreise nach bzw. von Sami zum Flughafen Argostoli. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir hatten uns für eine Bavaria 39 cruiser von 2006 entscheiden, die ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis versprach. Das Boot hatte daher schon einige Gebrauchsspuren, war aber insgesamt o.k.. Dank unseres deutschsprachigen Skippers, den Spiros uns auf Wunsch vermittelt hatte, hatten wir wunderbar entspannte, unkomplizierte und abwechslungsreiche Pfingstferien im Ionischen Meer und konnten eine Menge toller Eindrücke bei idealen Wetterbedingungen von Kefalonia, Ithaka, Kastos, Meganisi und Lefkada sammeln. Das müssen wir unbedingt bald fortsetzen, da waren sich meine Frau, meine beiden Söhne und ich uns einig. Bei Kefalonia Sailing zu chartern war eine gute Idee und kann ich wirklich empfehlen.
