We chartered a boat from Port Sami in Kefalonia. Seven seas were excellent in organising the charter. They even gave advice re hotel accommadation for the week we had prior to the sailing and put us in touch with a car rental company which offered great rates and were very accommadating in pick up and drop offs.. Spiros provided an excellent charter service. Quick to respond to any questions and everything was very well organised. The yacht was equipped to a very high standard. A technical issue at the start was dealt with quickly and sympathetically. We enjoyed a wonderful week exploring the southern islands along with a few days ashore in Kefalonia which I would highly recommend. I am happy to make a review of my wonderful experience on my recent yacht charter from Kefalonia Sailing. From my first contact arranging the booking Spiros was most helpful in choice of yacht and sailing area. The yacht on pick-up was in excellent condition. Unfortunately a storm came in which meant we had to seek refuge in Sami. Once again Spiros provided advice and his staff were on hand to meet us on arrival to ensure a berth. Sadly due to an illness at home we had to cut short the charter but once again Spiros did all he could to help us and make the unexpected handover of the yacht stress free and arranged transport for a quick dash to the airport. We chartered a boat for August 2020. The initial booking process was easy and communication was excellent. Spiros is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He even put us in contact with a reliable car rental company. Despite all the uncertainty about whether our trip would even happen due to COVID-19, Spiros was great all the way through; reassuring us that even if it couldn't happen we would be able to move the booking and we wouldn't lose any money. The boat was excellent (only a couple of years old) and our Captain Niko was an absolute star; he quickly became part of the family and the children loved him too. We've sailed many times in the Ionian, historically using a British company. However, our old charter company was starting to get really expensive so we explored some local operators. We struck lucky with Kefalonia Sailing. We chartered Nionios, a Sun Odysey 35 in June 2017. Spiros was fantastic right from our first communication and the team went out of their way to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We had been warned the boat was a little older than some and weren't too sure what to expect but she was a delightful boat which had clearly been looked after and we had some fantastic sailing. But it was the little touches that made things memorable. Solar panels meant we could run the fridge 24 hours a day. Electric fans in the cabins ensured comfortable nights. As we sail with our daughter (who was just over two years old on this trip) both these factors were very welcome. Spiros had also provided netting round the guard rails and packed some kids toys and a toddler's life jacket in the lockers. They also accommodated our request to pick the boat up in one location and drop it off in a different one. I rarely give reviews but have no hesitation in recommending Kefalonia Sailing to anyone. They are a reliable, friendly team who provide great value for money and go the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible time. Dream holiday, from start to finish was perfect. Our first trip on the Greek seas, our skipper was fabulous and took us to some secret locations that only an experienced person would know. Our boat was great and very comfortable - tip is always have a room extra if you can afford it! Kids loved every second - no one was sick. We had a wonderful one week charter in October sailing from Sami around the Ionian Islands. We chartered San Giorgio, I beautiful 2017 Lagoon 42 which was luxury indeed. We set sale with 2 families on board to explore the Ionian and had the most wonderful holiday visiting beautiful bays with turquoise seas as well as amazing villages like Fiskardo. Spiros was extremely helpful and a pleasure to charter from, always quick to respond to any questions and make sure we had the best possible time, we also had support from the owner which was much appreciated on a couple of technical problems. We had a wonderful sailing holiday June 2018. Thanks to Spiros, with exceptional and warm asssitance.
