I can’t recommend Kefalonia Sailing more highly. Spiros looked after us brilliantly despite very difficult circumstances. I think they offer the best prices as well. We originally booked on a flotilla with six people and two boats for the beginning of June. Covid put a stop to that, but Spiros was very happy to move the booking to late September. Then two of our party decided they couldn’t come anyway, but Spiros found us a boat for the 4 of us. A week before we were due to arrive there was a massive storm and some of the company’s boats were sunk compromising the holiday. Spiros found us another boat and attached us to a new flotilla. We had a great time while out sailing. They were fantastic from start to finish. Very highly recommended. (September 2020)

Spiros hat unseren ersten Familienurlaub in Griechenland perfekt organisiert – inklusive An- und Abreise nach bzw. von Sami zum Flughafen Argostoli. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir hatten uns für eine Bavaria 39 cruiser von 2006 entscheiden, die ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis versprach. Das Boot hatte daher schon einige Gebrauchsspuren, war aber insgesamt o.k.. Dank unseres deutschsprachigen Skippers, den Spiros uns auf Wunsch vermittelt hatte, hatten wir wunderbar entspannte, unkomplizierte und abwechslungsreiche Pfingstferien im Ionischen Meer und konnten eine Menge toller Eindrücke bei idealen Wetterbedingungen von Kefalonia, Ithaka, Kastos, Meganisi und Lefkada sammeln. Das müssen wir unbedingt bald fortsetzen, da waren sich meine Frau, meine beiden Söhne und ich uns einig. Bei Kefalonia Sailing zu chartern war eine gute Idee und kann ich wirklich empfehlen.

We had a wonderful one week charter in October sailing from Sami around the Ionian Islands. We chartered San Giorgio, I beautiful 2017 Lagoon 42 which was luxury indeed. We set sale with 2 families on board to explore the Ionian and had the most wonderful holiday visiting beautiful bays with turquoise seas as well as amazing villages like Fiskardo. Spiros was extremely helpful and a pleasure to charter from, always quick to respond to any questions and make sure we had the best possible time, we also had support from the owner which was much appreciated on a couple of technical problems. NO FORGETTING AMNESIA We set off from Agios Efimia, Kefalonia, circumnavigated Ithaki, calling in at some interesting anchorages before sailing to Atoro and then to Kastos before returning via Meganissi Island and a memorable afternoon sail down Steno Ithakis in a rising wind. The yacht, which was called “Amnesia” was anything but unforgettable. The boat was a Cyclades 43.4 Cruiser with (thankfully) slab reefing and roomy accommodation down below. The all-important anchor windlass had recently been replaced and Georgios had equipped the boat for every conceivable circumstance and thankfully nothing went wrong. We had very light winds (apart from the last day of the sailing trip) and had to motor for fairly long distances at times with absolutely no trouble from the engine. This sailing area never ceases to surprise me in its beauty and variety and, despite the busy conditions in some of the harbours we were always able to secure a comfortable berth. We look forward to many more years of sailing with Kefalonia Sailing Holidays and thank Spiros, Bouchra and Georgios. With best wishes from the Wood Family (August 2019)

We had a wonderful sailing holiday June 2018. Thanks to Spiros, with exceptional and warm asssitance. We've sailed many times in the Ionian, historically using a British company. However, our old charter company was starting to get really expensive so we explored some local operators. We struck lucky with Kefalonia Sailing. We chartered Nionios, a Sun Odysey 35 in June 2017. Spiros was fantastic right from our first communication and the team went out of their way to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We had been warned the boat was a little older than some and weren't too sure what to expect but she was a delightful boat which had clearly been looked after and we had some fantastic sailing. But it was the little touches that made things memorable. Solar panels meant we could run the fridge 24 hours a day. Electric fans in the cabins ensured comfortable nights. As we sail with our daughter (who was just over two years old on this trip) both these factors were very welcome. Spiros had also provided netting round the guard rails and packed some kids toys and a toddler's life jacket in the lockers. They also accommodated our request to pick the boat up in one location and drop it off in a different one. I rarely give reviews but have no hesitation in recommending Kefalonia Sailing to anyone. They are a reliable, friendly team who provide great value for money and go the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible time.
