We chartered a boat for August 2020. The initial booking process was easy and communication was excellent. Spiros is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He even put us in contact with a reliable car rental company. Despite all the uncertainty about whether our trip would even happen due to COVID-19, Spiros was great all the way through; reassuring us that even if it couldn't happen we would be able to move the booking and we wouldn't lose any money. The boat was excellent (only a couple of years old) and our Captain Niko was an absolute star; he quickly became part of the family and the children loved him too. Spiros was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the booking process. We had a few slightly challenging requests for him to fill, but he managed to find us a great boat and crew and handled every aspect of the itinerary from transfers to jet ski rentals. Kefalonia Sailing seems to be the only yacht agency that is actually based in Kefalonia, which was really helpful to securing a boat that was nearby and making use of their local knowledge for arranging the itinerary. We are frequent charterers and have sailed in the Med for the past 43 year. I have not only chartered but for many years ran the operations of a major charter company. I can safely say that it is not very often that one comes across a charter company as efficient and flexible as Kefalonia Sailing .Spiros and his team were quite outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. Changes of charter dates, plans and island excursions were all handled swiftly and with courtesy. There is a lot to be said for using a company where the owners are hands on - something the mega charter companies lose with size. The boat was in excellent condition for age and we had no problems with her whatsoever. One other big advantage was the far cheaper flights to Argostoli rather than Preveza -amazing difference. We had a wonderful sailing holiday June 2018. Thanks to Spiros, with exceptional and warm asssitance. Our Bavaria Cruiser 41 2017 was in perfect condition, kept extremely clean, all in perfect working order. Teh skipper provided excellent job, My deep thanks to Spiros and skipper too. Nous sommes une petite famille de 4 personnes. Mon épouse, moi même et nos deux filles de 8 et 10 ans Nous étions en vacances dans les îles Ionniennes et la vue répétée des bateaux naviguant sur les eaux turquoises nous a donné envie de tenter l'aventure. Nous avons eu la chance de naviguer avec skipper pendant une semaine sur un BAVARIA 40S répondant au doux nom de Kanenas. Nous avons passé une semaine de croisière inoubliable. I am happy to make a review of my wonderful experience on my recent yacht charter from Kefalonia Sailing. From my first contact arranging the booking Spiros was most helpful in choice of yacht and sailing area. The yacht on pick-up was in excellent condition. Unfortunately a storm came in which meant we had to seek refuge in Sami. Once again Spiros provided advice and his staff were on hand to meet us on arrival to ensure a berth. Sadly due to an illness at home we had to cut short the charter but once again Spiros did all he could to help us and make the unexpected handover of the yacht stress free and arranged transport for a quick dash to the airport. This was our first sailing trip ever and each moment was better than the rest. Spiros was incredibly helpful with any and all questions we had and accommodated every request we had. The beautifully appointed Lagoon 42 was captained by George, an extremely knowledgeable and friendly gentleman. He brought us to the most beautiful places in the Ionian Sea and helped make our holiday one of the most memorable ever. He was fantastic! I had planned our island hopping/ sailing trip for so long and it was EVERYTHING that I’d hoped for!! Spiros was so accommodating...very responsive to lots of emails !! Our skipper Ilias was wonderful too. Wonderful memories 💞
